Dr. Michael Onyon
Dr. Michael Onyon, President/Owner, has practiced optometry for 25+ years. He has served as a board member of the New Hampshire Optometric Association as well as the New Hampshire state liaison for the American Optometric Society. Dr. Onyon stays current with the latest advances in optometry and the optical industry, regularly attending conferences throughout the country. He is a certified orthokeratology practitioner with WAVE and Paragon. Other special interests include treatment of dry eye conditions and vision therapy.
Dr. Alexander Martin
Dr. Alexander Martin has joined Salem Vision Center in October 2018. As a graduate from the New England College of Optometry in 2017, he also holds bachelor degrees in Human Biology and Spanish with honors from Michigan State University. He has expertise in managing patients with glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration. He has participated and helped organize mission trips to Peru, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. Dr. Martin looks forward to serving the Greater Salem, NH community for many years to come.
Steven Gibeau, Vice President, is American Boards of Opticianry certified and has been in the optical industry for 25+ years. At Salem Vision Center since inception in April 2000, Steven has developed long standing relationships with many clients through his dedication to quality of service and products. Mr. Gibeau continuously educates through several mediums in order to bring improvements to the office, his patients, and his staff in order to always provide the best optical experience.
Michelle McGrath, Front Office Manager, started as a part-time receptionist and has worked her way to full-time Front Desk Manager. Michelle is a valuable team player who assists all patients with many facets during their visit to our office.
Linda Porter, ABOC, has been in the optical industry for 25+ years. She is American Board of Opticianry certified and continues her education in order to provide the best options in eyewear to her patients. Her experience and pleasant, positive demeanor will surely be an asset to Salem Vision Center and the patient’s alike.
Lynette Rawding has been with Salem Vision Center since November 2011. Lynette has learned many aspects of the optical trade and is currently the practice billing and insurance coordinator.
Beginning her optical experience in 1994 at a popular optical retailer, she rose through the ranks over the years prior to her arrival at Salem Vision Center in December 2018. Lisa has extensive knowledge with optics and is precise with a prescription assessment to select lens and frame options which will optimize your visual experience.
